Legacy Burdens
Beliefs and rules handed down across generations

Some burdens weren't picked up by a part — they were handed down. Family, cultural, ancestral. Legacy burdens travel intact across generations until someone unburdens them.
The belief / feeling / rule I carry (e.g., 'money is dangerous', 'don't need help')
Which side of the family (or which cultural line) it came from
Who I first saw carrying it
What it protected them from — historically, in their context
Does it still serve me? What would my life be like without it?
The unburdening (Self led)
Return the burden to where it came from — the earth, the water, the wind, the light — or lovingly to the ancestor with the message: "Thank you. I'm giving this back. It ends with me."
It ends with you
You can be the generation that receives the burden, acknowledges it, and does not pass it forward. That is real ancestral work.
