The teen ego state is often the loudest — rebellious, sarcastic, shut-down, or reckless. Talking to the teen part instead of about it changes the whole system.

What it doesn't want (be specific)
Teen parts want respect, not management
If you talk down to the teen part it will go underground and act out. Ask it what it thinks. Take the answer seriously.
