Clinical assessment library
Find the right measure for the clinical question. Compare when to use it, what a score can and cannot tell you, and what to do next.
Which assessment should I use?
Start with the presenting concern: PHQ-9 for depressive symptoms, GAD-7 for worry, and PCL-5 for symptoms tied to a trauma. Use K10 when the concern is still unclear; pair a symptom measure with WHODAS when everyday functioning matters. A screening score does not establish a diagnosis, and a safety concern needs a clinical assessment regardless of a questionnaire result.
