Somatic Tracking Worksheet (PRT)
Curiosity, not fixing

Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) works on nociplastic pain by reducing threat around the sensation. Somatic tracking is its core exercise.
Somatic tracking
- Bring attention to the sensation with curiosity, not fear
- Notice what it actually is — temperature, pressure, movement, location
- Add a message of safety: 'this is a signal, not damage'
- Stay for 30–60 seconds; notice any shift
- End before frustration

Curiosity, not fixing
You are not trying to make the pain go away. You are teaching the brain the sensation isn't dangerous. The going-away is downstream.
