Checking in with a part of you
Sometimes a part of you takes over — a worried part, an angry part, a small part who hurts. This sheet helps you turn toward it with curiosity instead of fighting it.
Why this helps
Parts that get pushed away get louder. Parts that get listened to — even just for a minute — usually soften. You don't have to do what the part says; you just have to hear it.
~10 min
Give it a simple name — what role does it play?
For example: "The worrier", "the inner critic", "the one who shuts down", "young me".
In your body — a tightness, heaviness, energy, a tone of voice in your head.
Be honest. Annoyed? Scared of it? Curious? If you feel anything other than openness, that's another part — see if it can step back a moment.
If you can, ask it these questions and listen. There are no wrong answers.
Often a part just needs to be seen and trusted — not pushed away.
After listening, notice what shifted.
